Someone has put incorrect data for my OH's grandfather in a tree and this has been copied so Thrulines is showing numberous ancestors that do not exist.

The fact that this is the wrong person is confirmed by DNA tests on OH and her second cousin.

Is there any way to get the situation corrected?

You can’t do anything about Thrulines - there are only a suggestion.

You can contact the tree owner to correct the tree ( don’t expect them do do it). You can also add a comment on each incorrect entry.

Ancestry trees are notoriously inaccurate,

As long as you own tree is accurate, ignore it.
