I'm trying to trace Graham and Kenneth Lodge, twins born in 1940 to Gladys and Joseph Lodge. Gladys née Greenaway 1915-1985. Married Joseph William Lodge in 1949. His dates 1897-1969. He was previously married to Grace Bolton Webber 20/3/1900. I can't find a date for her death but she was in a mental institution. Their son was Joseph William Lodge 16/6/1922-8/1989. Gladys remarried in 1979 I think, to Ernest Alder.
I can't find any more details about these people than this, and nothing about Graham or Kenneth, although Kenneth may have been in the navy.

The birth cerificates would be useful in this case.
If the Cardiff births are correct then it is possible that Graham married at 16!!!! in 1956 and Kenneth in 1959.

You should check out these marriages in Cardiff and see if they are correct and if there were any children to the marriages.

Nameslessone mentioned a possible marriage for Graham in 1956.

That couple had a son in 1962 in Cardiff, who seems to have been still living in Cardiff in 2010, per ER on Ancestry.
The 2010 address does not appear to have been sold since then.

A man of about the right age, and the right first and surnames, with a middle name beginning with the right initial, is a teacher of martial arts in Cardiff.

There doesn't seem to be any other birth reg for someone of that name around 1962-ish.

However, it might be wise to buy a copy of the 1956 marriage cert before attempting to make contact with the possible son, to be sure that that Graham is the right man.


There's another Graham Lodge marriage in Cardiff in 1980.
BUT that's NOT the right Graham.
The 1980 couple were living in Powys until at least 2007.
That Graham was born in 1934, and died in 2017 in Vale of Glamorgan reg district.
The wife (born 1931) died in 2019.
