Probate record is available via this site -

https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk

You can send for the will via the site

Sounds as though you know where the burial plot is - contact the local cemeteries office who should know who owns the plot

It’s the executor proof they need, it’s the sister of the above,

Surely a will only tells you who inherited the estate and who the executors were. It can’t tell who signed the paperwork for the grave.

Yes there was a will that’s lost, you need it for proof of grave. Thanks

Is it known for certain that she left a Will which was actually proved?

There is a government website for proved Wills - google ‘wills and probate’ for link

You will have to pay to download the Will to get any info

The ownership of the grave should be a matter of record with the relevant authority.
