6 weeks are allowed in which to register a birth. Technically a 9th August birth should have been registered by 20th October. So the registration might have taken place in either the September or December Qtr. I'm wondering if he was registered in both Registration districts, but in different Quarters

The date of birth for August is definitely right as I have the death certificate with the date on. I’ve now been able to look at the postem. Thank you. Pat.

I would be grateful if someone could look at the 1939 register for the above born 1935.
Also included should be Henry Bamford born about 1908 (father) Alice born about 1913 (mother) Elizabeth born 1937 (sister) and possibly John born 1939 (brother).
They possibly lived in Walton Le Dale, Preston, Lancashire.
