Notice in the Local / National Papers. Possibility Tammy is on the Electoral Rolls. But you have to be prepared for the other person Not wishing to be found. Have you got the Surname right = ROLAND ? Hi Elaine Sorry to butt in on the thread but I have John Biddle in my tree His daughter Hannah by his second wife Ann is my father's cousin's great grandmother. She married into the Armson family which I have a lot of information about. I don't have any info regarding John's wives' surnames or when they married as most of my info is on the Armson side. The Armson's were in the Hugglescote/ Ellistown area of Leics Feel free to PM me if you want any info, Cheers Clare

Hi Mike Was wondering if you have time tomorrow if you could look at this marriage for me Mary Moore and John Biddle 9 Dec 1840, Nailstone That's all I know besides 1841 Census Living in Hugglescote John Biddle Age 25 Occupation Blacksmith Mary Biddle Age 20 all born within the county 1851 Census Living in Hugglescote John Biddle Head Mar Age 35 Occupation Blacksmith and Victualler Born Hugglescote, Leicestershire Thomas Biddle Son Age 7 Scholar Born Hugglescote, Leicestershire but will start looking at my Moore's again now. Mike Only nine centuries to go then! We live in Donington le Heath, complete with Manor House dating back to somewhere round the 12th century and Donington is in the Domesday Book too!

Greeting’s Folks…… Sad New’s I’m afraid….. Not sure if all will remember……. “ Kate of Oz “ a member of GC. ( Early Days ) Kathleen Hocevar is an ex-pat of Leicester…… I had a message from her last night To say that her Mother aged 94 who was living with her in Victoria Oz passed away 04.06.07.. I did manage to send off a card this morning via airmail Which I included that all from the Leicestershire thread Where thinking of her at this sad tine . MIKE.
