Thankyou for all of your help jess. You were one of the 1st people on here to get me started on my tree when all i had was my name and my mums you pointed me in the right direction. Without your help i would of given up and not found out all of the information i now have about my family. I will still be able to keep in touch on the other side but felt like i had to say thankyou on here as this is where i first met you. Please feel free to pm me if you ever want to get things off your chest and don't let things get to you especially on here. Thanks again for your help Jenxx

Jess - I'm so sorry you are leaving (I'm sure you'll still 'look-in' now and again though). This site was wonderful when I first joined 3 or 4 years ago and yours was one of the names I first came to know as a 'regular', who gave good, sound advice. It's such a shame that certain people have no idea when they are being given proper advice and take it upon themselves to cause enough trouble that you feel the need to go. This site will certainly be the poorer for your going. I, myself, only renewed yeterday after thinking long and hard about whether or not I should. I decided that I would miss the site too much - even though it is a shadow of it's former self. Newbies wouldn't believe how good this site once was and how many people of your calibre there used to be on here. Good luck in all you do. (See you now and again on the other side). Kath. x

Thanks for all your help and advice on here. Your patience and understanding will be missed on GR. I've not got long left on GR myself, just a couple of months as I'm not renewing my membership either. I know I'll see your messages over on the other site but it will be strange not to see your name popping up on here.

Jess It's not goodbye from me, as you know, but this is an appropriate time to say THANKYOU for the Adoption thread you started - and which now has 6 chapters and something like 2,000 postings. I knew nothing of adoption issues until I joined GR, and that thread alone has opened my eyes to the depth and strength of feelings on this matter, something I would probably never have known about if it was not for you and that thread. Jess, if you had never done anything else (and you did LOADS else, as I personally know) then that one thing would stand as a testament to you. GR is indeed losing a very valuable, and much valued, member. OC

Jesse I am answering you on here as well as this is my favourite place as well. I am sorry you are leaving though I understand the reasons. I am glad I and other members will still be able to keep in touch with you on another site. I hope your adoption threads continue as I think they provided much needed support to some very vulnerable people and I know you provided a lot of help through personal messages as well. Anne
