Greeting’s Again Sarah….. The only Sarah Atkins Marriage found 1850 ~ 52. July Qrt. 1851. Sarah Atkins. ~ DAVID GOODMAN. Billesdon District. Cert No. XV. 65. Sarah was born in Goadby.( Billesdon District ) They went on to rise a Family in Tur Langton. I have tracked both Harriett & Henry through the 1841. ~ 51. Censuses. On the 1851. Census. Henry (20) was working on a Farm in BARKBY THORPE. Harriett (19) was a servant working in BARKBY. These villages are only 1.2. miles apart. And both villages come under Barrow Upon Soar District. So…..Next time I’m at the Records Office I’ll have a look at the Registers for both Parishes for that Marriage in 1852. MIKE. xx

Your very Welcome again Sarah. I can confirm that that marriage did NOT take place in the Parishes of Queniborough or in the Village of Barrow Upon Soar . I tried to find it this afternoon at the Records Office but drew a blank for both Parishes ... Barrow Upon Soar Parish was a very Big Parish covering most of the Villages from Loughborough in the West to the Villages which Lay to the East of the Main Melton Mowbray Road. To the North of the City of Leicester. MIKE.
