Hi Sammy, ditto to what Kathleen just said and I hope he gets a good response from his mum sending best wishes tomorrow. Julie xxx

Hi Sammy, I haven't added to this thread before but have watched it with interest. Hope everything goes well for him tomorrow, and tell him not to take no for an answer if someone else answers the door. He can always say he will wait patiently outside for as long as it takes (even if he can't really do this). Perhaps they will see how serious he is about a meeting. My best wishes go with him for a happy outcome. Kath. x

Smiley Report 2 Aug 2005 11:15

Hi everyone :) My BIL scared to death bless him, but he's still going. I admire him so much for doing this, it's almost a 4hr drive from here, and the 4hr drive back will be even worse if she wont speak to him, but it's got to be done. I really hope the journey is worth it, I mean I hope she's home... I hope she answers the door... I pray she doesn't slam it in his face... We'll have to wait & see I'll let you know anything as soon as I I find out Sam

Sammy what can I say that already has'nt been said! A very sad experience for all involved, especially BIL. Hope everything turns out as he wishes it to be. Im sure there will be a light at the end of the tunnel, even if this process means turning the experience into a positive, interms of the inner strength he obviously has and displays! Very best wishes to you all Lib

Bev Report 29 Jul 2005 14:04

If they're not interested, they won't read it! There are loads of us out there who are very interested and concerned. Bev

Brilliant news--I don't know how he's been so patient. If he's anything like me when I met my brother last year for the first time he'll need some Rescue Remedy with him !! or something stronger !! Longing to hear the outcome. All the best to him.

Hi There was me thinking I was the only one who had followed this thread but never added but there's loads of us :-) Wishing your BIL & the rest of his supporters in your family loads of luck ,happiness & strength for Wednesday. Penny

Unknown Report 29 Jul 2005 10:21

Hi Sammy Have followed from the start but not added as yet. I wish BIL all the luck in the world for Wednesday. Will be thinking of all of you. Has your BIL any ideas on how to approach or what to say first? Either way, I hope it turns out well. I would at the very least hope that if she doesnt want to see him, that he hears it from her in person. But im sure if your BIL is polite and friendly (as im sure he is), then I dont see the harm in approaching. Im quite sure she is just scared of making the first move in case it is confrontational. Good Luck and everything crossed for a happy outcome. Vikki xx
