hi I have had a good feed back from the lothian health board. They have old records of births, deaths and old address's etc.I needed help with 1918 and they couldn't do enough for me.I also found that the Scotsman Newspaper is up to 1910 now, and that children were offered for adoption/fostering/given away, in the personal clolumn.This may have been done in other newspapers and AREAS it's worth going down that road.
