3/4 of my ancesters escaped from Poland at or around the turn of 20th Century, has anyone had any success with any websites. Some came from Warsaw and some from Plock which is 56 miles north west of Warsaw. Any ideas of where to search would be greatly appreciated Thanks

If they escaped then they would have left as few details behind as possible - often covering their tracks well beforehand. This was not necessarily for their benefit but for the protection of family they left behind. Try finding someone on fb who live in that area and can speak English. You will find they can be quite helpful xx (Though you dont necessarily find anything out. Ive been looking for years and still never come up with anything!!)
