Hello Lindy There are none of my names here, but thank you for typing out this list. I hope lots of members look at it. Shirley

Lindy Report 11 Apr 2004 21:06

Hi Shirley, I really hope so too. I have just updated the name to include South Africa. Once these threads have fallen off of the board they are gone for good. I have no way or retrieving the thread nor do I have the capacity to save them. Lindy

mgnv Report 28 Aug 2009 13:46

Hi Lindy - can't you paste them into an email and send it to yourself and not delete it? I don't think I can send myself a pm, though. I just tried and it sort of sat there for 5 mins, so I stopped the thing and went back to normal service.

Kenneth Report 28 Aug 2009 22:09

Lovedale School was actually founded by the Glasgow Missionary Society and was named after its founder, a Dr Love. The school later became the University of Fort Hare and this was the University where many of Southern Africa's indigenous liberation leaders studied. Nelson Mandela, Robert Mugabe, Joshua Nkomo, Mangosutho Buthelezi and many other famous/notorious politicians are among its alumni.
