Hi Teresa, could you please look up the children of EDWARD CROFT + ELIZABETH CROFT (nee CRABBIE) after my nan, MARY ELLEN was born in 1902, I have records of 5 older kids but not the younger ones, think there was a DOROTHY + LILY but not certain. Area is Lancashire, Liverpool (Birkenhead). Thanks Wend

Hi Laurie' The only Cooke is Monm at that time is Walter 1860, parents William and Anna Maria, No luck in Glos either I'm afraid. Lots of Cookes but no Zechariah. The computer automatically brings up all the different spelling variations.

Hi Martin; No info on children John and Jane Hogg. No birth for John Hogg. The closest in 1724 in York, Yorks There is a marriage for a John Hogg to Frances Dawson, 1731 Pannal, Yorks.Also for John Hogg to Mary Tate, 1777 Seamer Yorks and John Hog to Elizabeth Greenfield 1779 Scarborough, Yorks. Let me know if you are interested in any of these.

Hi Janice; The VRI is the Brithish Vital Records Index of births and marriages. I have the second edition which consists of 16 discs (13 birth, 3 marriage). There are about 12.5 million records of varying amounts for each county.

Teresa, could you do a lookup for George Hogg b.1775 Northallerton, Yorkshire. His parents were John and Jane Hogg also of Northallerton. I would like to know if he had any brothers or sisters. Hi Teresa. Yes please I would love a look up for the siblings of my Taylor family. Names of parents are: Jeremiah Taylor who married 10 July 1810 Frances Ash St Peter Wolverhampton. Henry Taylor who married Harriet Riley 7 March 1835 St Peter Wolverhampton. Thanks so very much for the offer of help. Irene

Hi Teresa Could you look up a marriage for me please. A John Salmon married Maria Joslin possibly in the Polstead/Hadleigh areas where they came from. Would hazard a guess at approx 1869/70 as their eldest know children was born 1871 in Hadleigh. John was born approx 1844 and Maria approx a849. Many thanks for your time. Liz

Hi Laurie; The only Zachariah Cook is in 1589. There is a Walter Cook in Beaufort, Mon 1860 with parents William and Anna Maria. Maybe this is a sibling. No luck on John Skelton. No luck on Alice Rody either. There are lots of Roddy in Ireland though.
