thanks for the tips, but my search isn't a straight forward genealogy one. The census won't be any good to me at the moment as I am trying to find my husbands birth mother, so the info I need is too recent for the census. All we have is her birth name, and her addresses at the time which is 35 yrs ago. We don't know her married name, or yr of her marriage etc, so apart from parting with hundreds of pounds, to get a proffesional to help we are a bit stuck. |
