I just went through this thread to try and read other replies and it said....invalid thread,

I really don't like it.

my credits have dissappeared i only had 7 but they dissapeared. i've just noticed.

I being at work all day and came on tonight to find this new look.

it looks horrible and ugly, please give me the old system back.

i'm right handed and hate having to go to the left to do everything, it just doesn't feel right.

Please genes give us the old system.

I think it's like driving a car while sitting in the passenger seat! It's all over one side of the screen and then you have to put your mouse over the left hand side to change boards.

Hate the layout, background, text, spacing between posts.

Why is it showing my maiden name - how can I change it to show my married name on threads etc.

I've been saving useful bits of info on there for months & now they've all gone awol!!!

I like the reply box on the same page as the thread - previously I kept forgetting what I was replying to!

However, the reply box visible area is now much smaller than it used to be. Would it be possible to split the page into two resizeable windows so that we adjust the split (between our reply and the previous messages on the thread) as we are typing?

Why do you feel the need to continuously make unnecessary changes to this website?

Why not limit yourself to making improvements where they are needed and leave the rest be?

Personally I think it's horrible!

Bring back the old screen, this is awful. Yes, would like to know what happens when the counter gets to nought. Does it switch you off!. Why can't people leave this alone.

Peter, I do have an option to display by newest post first on this thread - has it literally just appeared? It is useful on the longer threads

Many thanks, Loz, I see now see "my threads" - had to type in "Ivy ." (without the "'s) to get them.

Also, I was assuming that if I searched under "author" it would only have those threads I started, but it does seem to include those I had just nudged previously.

i've still got no account button, have mailed GR, they say it is there!! it's not!!!
but if i go onto FireFox----yes i can see it!!!
why can't they leave things as they were?

I also had trouble getting the advance search option to work looking for old threads. I tried using my maiden name, married name and also my nickname without success but then when I tried to log in to my account I found using my log in name worked and brought up all the old threads. I just have to remember to use that in future unless I feel like bookmarking every thread separately :( Try logging into your account section and see what that is and try using that if it is different to what you thought it might be.

Hopefully you get what I mean..

And why are GR so tight with the space in the posting boxes? :(

Ahh, so the "bookmark" option only appears when we are on a thread - I do now have one.

Viewing old threads - can we have some FAQ guidance on this? It seems that it has been partially replaced by the search function (but I can't get this to work) and partially by bookmarks - ditto.

I see the counter is already in place - so GR are taking note and acting where possible - hooray!

Don't like this. It's all spread out. Please tell me this is just a 'test'.
