Hi Mike,

Could you look up a marriage for me if you have time?

Benjamin North married Elizabeth Bevin at St. Margaret's, Leicester in 1852 (4th quarter), and I'd like to know the name of his father if it's listed.

Thanks a lot,
Mary

Hi

I have received today the birth cert for ALLEN UNWIN b 1848 in Shepshed. Shows father as William Unwin and mother as Elizabeth Unwin formerly Williams.

In 1848 they were living in Britannia Street Shepshed.

Have the family on all cencus from 1841 - 1871.

Their first child Joseph was born around 1834.

I have not been able to find any reference to a marriage between William Unwin and Elizabeth Williams or any details of her birth from the IGI

Any help would be appreciated.

Marlene

Hi Mike/Bev

Its been ages since I came on here, I hope you are both well. I'm still looking for my Hincks (Mike - run!! Beverly, did we ever decide if we are related?!), and the rest of my Earl Shilton and Barwell riff raff!!
I am now on the case of Kirklands of Earl Shilton, and Mike was wondering (if you are now off the prozac I reduced you to a while back), if you could check any (birth) records for circa 1830? Am particularly interested in the children of James and Mary.
Thanks so much, good to see you're still here, you're great!
