Carol is one of the lovely members I met about 10 years ago at a meet in Cornwall Bodmin Gaol.

Our dear friend Carol B. is sadly facing more heartache and needs our love and thoughts. Last month her husband died very suddenly which was devastating for her.

Carol informed me yesterday, I was knocked for six. I asked her if she wanted a thread put up and she asked that I do it this way, among all the verses people have added over the years.

I am sure you will all wish her strength to cope and carry on with her life as best she can. It's more than unfair that some people sail through life so easily and others get so much thrown at them.

Maybe reading some of these verses will ease the pain of loss, if only a little, for our Carol.

Hello Tawny, my sympathy on your sad loss. Saying goodbye to your Grandmother must have been very emotional for you.

Reading through the threads tonight after my grandmas funeral two days ago. The poem Gwyn in Kent put on page 14 Look For Me in Rainbows was the poem my cousin read out. A rainbow appeared in the sky just after my grandma died.
