LOL Chris - dont worry I can do that myself. The outside leaves are now very brown - any hint of smelling and it will be in the compost!

Hiya - sorry, got carried away. I have never had a banana plant - are you green fingered then. I am not very good with plants which is why I am keeping my fingers very firmly crossed. LOL

Ah Chris, but its not THE Winston Churchill. BUT I have always referred to him as great uncle winnie. You imagine my shock when I actually found out that I did in fact have a Winston Churchill in my tree and was my great uncle!

Alas I do not think I am related although having said that if we have the same surname we must be related somewhere along the line???
