I know,but like I said not all of us are capable of shooting foxes or wildlife we consider 'fluffy'.Whereas you could.(& I'm not knocking you for that either!)

All this mange mentioning is making my head itch!

Calm down? Its not me thats posting hysterical threads asking for advice about a mangy fox FGS!

Last year, I shot 34 of the stinking things on this farm alone!

I think I could more than adequately deal with a scabby mangy fox in my garden without having to wait days on end for the RSPCA to turn up, lol

Is it still in the garden Taff, can you see it?

Elderick-its mange,not rabies- calm down.Not all of us have a gun & I couldnt use one anyway-I'd get a vision of Basil Brush before I pulled the trigger!

Yep. Its been suffering for over 24 hours now.

Why?

Because its kinder to wait for the RSPCA than actually do anything about it.

Not at all. I would personally find it quite disturbing to learn that anyone was scared by a computer monitor. But whatever. If you are, then I have no suggestions at all.

I do find your comments rather stereotypical and suggestive of several things however.

Politeness (an alien concept, I realise) forbids me from mentioning them.

The Trap will be a cage-not one with teeth or a snare & they'll come out quickly (especially if they only have one)& you'll be shown how to release unexpected animals.

I dont come on the internet to discuss my medical conditions.............sorry, but that doesnt float my boat.

Far less would I come on a genealogy website message board and start telling people that I have a fatal illness.

But, whatever. Thats just me. I would do things

Just want you to know that I think you're doing a grand job Taff, but it does get quite stressful when you see anything in pain so I do feel for you both.
