Eldick, you do not deserve a responce to that!

Blue Moon

Blue Moon Report 3 Jun 2008 09:00

Eldrick, stop winding people up........you are so good at it....lol.

I'm quite sure that the RSPCA will come straight out to the trap if any animal is caught in it weather it be a Fox or a Cat,
and i don't some how think that Taff will not monitor the trap....do you !

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 3 Jun 2008 09:00

Its no problem to me, I couldnt care less. I suspect you have guessed my views on mangy foxes!

And I cant see the RSPCA getting anywhere very fast. Their response time is usually measured by a calendar as oposed to a stopwatch.

Anyway, good luck with your fox. lol.

Taff Report 3 Jun 2008 08:54

Take it up with the RSPCA EL,. I will do all i can to help, as i said if another animal is caiught, I must ring them and they will be here ASAP to free it!!

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 3 Jun 2008 08:50

The RSPCA are breaking the ethical trapping code in that case, by asking an unqualified person to be responsible for monitoring a trap.

What do you do if a cat or another wild mammal gets into it? No responsible person should set a trap where there is a likelihood of other animals apart from the target species being caught. What will they use to bait it?

If a gamekeeper were to do a similar thing they would be falling over themselves to take out a prosecution.

But then again, they are a law unto themselves. Or think they are.

Morning Taff,
just come on to see whats happening, the humane trap sounds good .

Taff

Taff Report 3 Jun 2008 08:33

The RSPCA just phoned me, they are going to send someone out with a humane trap, to catch the poor thing and treat it! Its up to me to monitor the trap, and if a healthy fox is caught, ring them and they will come out ASAP, and release it!
BUT, there is only ONE trap in the south wales area..... fingers crossed though!!
