PLEASE if they are feeling numb get them checked.

Blow work... It will have to wait.
You might need even more time off work if you don't look after yourself now.

Go.

I'm forever tripping upstairs - in fact if falling over was an olympic event I would be a gold medallist for sure!!!

Nurofen is OK but cheap and cheerful supermarket / chemist ibuprofen has the same active ingredients but not such posh packaging.
I hope it heals soon.
I fell forward on my wrists a couple of years back and later had numbness so had to have nerve tests at Canterbury..
I still have a weakness though.....so you take care.

Oh deary me, what are you like! Now I know you are eager to play scrabulous but please use restraint LOL.

Hope you feel better later on, I fear tomorrow you may feel the full brunt of the fall. I bet there were a few words spoken!! LOL

See you tonight

McAnne's Gahan-Crazy Report 3 Jun 2008 09:07

Hi Gwyn

Yes i have some nurofen - they are 'burning' inside at the moment but i can't take time out of work cos i am on my own now - no back up!

If they get worse i know i will have to cos they are weak anyway from years of ice skating falls lol

Oh poor you, ...That looks sore.

Get them checked at the walk-in clinic or GP.
There's alot of soft tissue that could have been damaged.

I'll await a report back.....or I'll 'do a Dawnie' and nag you.
Have you got some anti inflamatory painkillers?

Gwyn

.

just coming back up the stairs to my office

got to the 3rd from top one when i was rugby tacked by my trouser leg

went flying forward - the landing looming up at me

SPLAT ! ! !

landed on the palms of my hands - stubbed a lump out of my big toe nail

took the full impact on my 'not particularly strong' wrists and now they are poorly hurty

*pouts and holds floppy wrists out to show*

:O((
