Well, that's the last time I believe what some silly woman says about silkworms and their mating habits - or lack of them. I will listen to men in khaki then, Jax. Not sure where the mulberry tree comes in. Do they eat the leaves, Mick? |

So we get the story straight from the silkworms mouth so to speak. I guess JA that a silkworm wouldn't feel up to spinning silk once they've been boiled. Who would have thought that a thread about silkworms could get to 2 pages lol. Still Eldrick's frog thread reached over 300;)) |

I thought silk came from fabric shops but I have been so enlightened by this thread. Just a question...are all the virgin silkworms female and if so do they all scream and faint when a male silkworm enters their domain? |
