This will be my first Fathers Day without my dad. I want to do something in his memory. I thought about making a donation to a charity. What do other the rest of you do? |

Thought of donation to the British Heart Foundation, because he died of a heart attack and that's where we sent the donations after his funeral. |

My son and I 'bought' my Dad a tree for his 70th birthday, it is planted in a wood somewhere in England, can't remember where without digging out the certificate, he was alive then but didn't need things so I thought it was a nice gift, his name is in a book with all the other names of people who had trees donated to turn a dull piece of land into a wood again. I had forgotten till I read this thread. |
