	aaw fanks Joy :-) didn't do much really - some meets are really hard work to organise but I only took over halfway through :-) was just glad it went so well and everyone had such a great time :-) thanks also about the allotment comment - now that IS hard work lol !! cut my first cabbages yesterday - we will eat one tomorrow I think - hope it tastes as good as it looks! 	no just slugs!!! little (beep)s have eaten 4 out of 5 pumpkins and 2 out of 5 cucumbers - they've even stripped a tomato plant!! I HATE them !!! xxxxxxxxxxxx

	Maz! To get rid of the slugs, tip a beer can on its side (with some beer still in it) and "snuggle" it down into the soil. The slugs love the beer and drown in it. Am I making sense? Deb

	yes you are! the only thing is that it would take about 10 crates of empty cans to kill all the ones I've got!! * heads to nearest alky bench to gather empties * xxxxxxxxxxx

	even worse if you chop 'em in half with the edge of yer trowel - eugh a green explosion !! off to bed now - will probably dream of flippin' slugs after that!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

	Do you think sprinkling salt around the bed, and putting beer cans around will keep them from climbing into bed with you?? Deb pmsl :)))
