had half a tank left but due back at work on Monday and I drive roughly 80 to 100 miles each day so the need to fill up is a must for me.

No diesel left, just unleaded which is what I needed.

Tank was already half full, put £20 in and it still didn't fill it..................1200cc Toyota Auris ...........

I get 11p a mile through work and this did cover the mileage I did...................not anymore, It is now costing me to do the job I'm meant to do!

I bought my car a year ago in July and filled it up the day I got it from empty........cost me £30 it's a 1.8 engine.

Thought I'd be going on a long journey and the fuel is a tad cheaper here.......whacked £40 in and it's still only showing three quarters.!!!! xx

My OH is in same position hun, hes a work based assessor, how can employers expect us to run cars when fuel has gone up sooo much??

The 11p a mile I get is set by the goverment - it is so we can get it paid straight into our accounts and not be taxed on it.................somehow I can't see us getting anymore
