i've ask this question many times before, that each generation you go back, your granparents double, 4-8-16-32 etc before long you would have more GPs that peeps on the planet, most come back with the answer of incest, they say it was ripe many years ago.

Hi
I didn't see it but I have read about it & it's not that rare especially with adopted people & also with adopted sons & their birth mothers. Must be to do with confused emotions.

I think most of the animal world do it, they have one main male that fathers all untill a younger stud comes along and takes over the job, poor thing,

You're right Diana

am convinced my SIL had something 'not quite right' about her- altho in fairness that could have been the brain cancer manifesting many years back

but my nephew is also very much like her, bit of a loose cannon and very irrational, so i don't know if it carries onto the next gen???

Yes its legal for cousins to marry as their blood line is diluted but its still possible for genetics to cause problems for them!!

And what about the mother and son she gave up for adoption that were in a relationship????.......... now that sickened me!!

She may only have been 14 when she gave birth to him but one minute she was saying she felt like she was going to produce milk when she saw him and the next she was on about their sexual relationship!!!

pink must say I agree about the English lady, if it had been my husband, he would have been out on his tod, she was either very understanding, or plain daft

~irishgirl~ Report 13 Jun 2008 14:27

It happens between cousins too.

What was the outcome and did they give reasons as to why this happens

PinkDiana

PinkDiana Report 13 Jun 2008 14:22

Yeah I saw it..... what bewildered me was why was it only him to be jailed when they both committed incest?

And as for the english lady who's husband was besotted with his new sister.......... she's a better person than me as I am not sure I would have stayed!!

I too felt sorry for them, at least with programmes like this more will be learned about the syndrome or whatever they called it, of seperated and reunited siblings having feelings for each other like that.
Was so sad about the ones with the children.

did anyone watch the program about brothers & sisters that meet after being apart for most of their lifes, and then falling in love?
there was a couple in Germany, and i know its incest, but I felt rather sorry for them, to me it seems ludicrous, that you can have those sort of feelings about one's sibling, but for the grace of god go I.I allso saw the same thing on Maury, the couple were heart broken, when finding out they had the same father.
goodness knows how many silblings meet up on GR, and i am sure with the wonders of the internet, there will be more
