MY YOUNG DUCKLING HAS PASSED AWAY 8-(

Im sad to tell you all ... who gave me advice on my young ducklings thread, that the young one as passed away this afternoon.... it seemed to be having breathing difficulties.... spent most of the nite feeding it on the hour with water through a syringe.... it didnt seem to get any better my mid morning.... so i held it..... this afternoon and it snuggled up to me and sadly passed away.... i named her DIB & the other one DAB.....i went back to the farm after to speak to the farmer to let him know she may have been to young to be seperated from mommy duck and he replaced her with another duckling...... DIB cant be replaced as she was a real cutey little duckling.... bless her.... so we have FAB now she is another cutey..... so little DIB is buried and resting in my beautiful garden of roses.....Thankyou who everyone who gave me advice on my thread YOUNG DUCKLINGS.... and Thankyou to HARP STRINGS ....who left a thread to ask how they were getting on..... im so upset of losing little DIB... i did all i could to help her... feeling very distraught.... .GOD BLESS ALL GODS LITTLE CREATURES.....

oh God bless, poor little duckling - they are so cute and I was so hopeful you would be able to rear them both - never mind, even though it only had a very short life, you loved it to bits I know!!

Oh sweetie, shes gone to a good place. How sad though. Hate loosing animals, we love them dearly. Least it had a good home xxxxxx

Ahh bless Wendy. It is heartbreaking when little animals pass away. Some of us are just old (in my case) softies. Concentrate on Dab and Fab they still need you to look after them there is nothng more you can do now for Dib.

I tried my best to keep her going.... poor little thing..... i was hoping to rear them and after a few months they would of been able to go outside and waddle up beside me and the chucks.... harp strings no harm in been softies.... we human and have a heart.. very caring people.... old or young.... no matter.... we all care.... me i cry at anything....

Well I want to hear good news about the other two - so you had better make sure nothing happens to Dab and Fab lol and that sometime in the future you will be complaining they are pecking at yer ankles! lol

well harp strings keeping a close eye on the FAB & DAB... cant wait for them to start pecking... DAB hissed at me hand to day lol... and then pecked it so i know they are gunna be alright.....

DIB is now in a lovely place swimming on a great big beautiful pond.
