Hello Susan,

I think I gave you the following information a few months ago. Perhaps you have lost it, so here it is again.

Name:Albert E Alexander
Year of Registration:1914
Quarter of Registration:Oct-Nov-Dec
Mother's Maiden Name:Bellringer
District:Portsmouth (1900 Onw)
County:Hampshire
Volume:2b
Page:826

The only way to get more confirmation would be to purchase the birth certificate.

And for future reference Susan --

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards.asp?wci=thread&tk=1051855

You have now had yet more people looking for the info you already had, in your thread on Trying to Find.

If there are any more threads about the same thing hanging around the boards today, you would do well to delete them before another half dozen helpful people do it all over some more.

To be fair Kathryn, Susan only posted on Trying to find once Granny made the suggestion :-) Valid point though :-)

also for future ref Susan - try looking for things on the site freebmd.org.uk - not complete for BMD's but always worth a try

Just a thought, Susan do you know how to go about buying a birth certificate? Do you need any help?

Some names down the side will look familiar ... as will some of the advice ...

I have given Susan the information on how to get BMDs before, and also the links to websites. Unless of course these have been lost too, in which case, perhaps some-one else can help this time.

Nah, Susan##, it's all there ...

Maybe the "My Threads" tip I offered in the other thread will help.
