I just know that someone here will know the answer to my question.

I have a half-sister who had a child out of wedlock by an American Serviceman. I know his name and also his USA service number.

How do I go about finding info on him as his son wants to contact him?

Alan I tried to find one too for someone in our family.
We had the address and I thought that that would make it easy. People move though and I ended up giving up.

I did try Putting as much information as I could on all the relevant GR places.
Got a lot of help too.

Looked up ANCESTRY and found out a lot from there as well.

My advice is, ask as many people and places as you can... I even wrote to a minister of a local church in the town where he lived... but no luck.

You could be so lucky, and if you are... let me know all the places you tried.
I may start again.
