APOLOGIES TO ROYAL MAIL
The postman knocked this morning and returned the drill bits with a note of apology,
Above and beyond his call of duty i think (must have been in a mood yesterday)

I agree to a certain extent it just seems that in this day and age everything is so complicated. Im still confident they will return them though

To be fair Julie if the items aren't packed properly it's not the Post Offices fault if it comes apart. And while, yes, it seems silly in this instance because you wouldn't have asked if you hadn't been expecting them, there are guidelines they have to follow. And if they made an exception on your case other people could say that things were lost hoping the PO would have one in lost property and just hand it over.

Hubbys already done that and they have offered to replace them theres no problem there it just seems so stupid
I suppose i will have to wait till tommorow to see if they will let me have them!!
Makes me wonder what happens to lost items though?
No wonder post offices are closing

Why not get in touch with the firm you bought them from and explain the problem, ( the Packaging seems to have been Lax )also where the drills are. **M**.

But i suppose it is really (apart from the fact there are six drill bits at about £7.00 quid each)

Yesterday through the post i got an empty jiffy bag, Should have contained drill bits.
This morning i asked the postman if he had seen the drill bits and he said yes!!!
They were in the lost property box at sorting office he found them!!
So i asked him if i could please have them!!
His answer !!!!
No unless i can prove they are mine
