Just been having this coversation at work about songs that make me happy.

When I'm feeling down, I dust off my 70s cds and sing along. Cheers me up every time, but not sure that it cheers the neighbours up!!

When irish eyes are smiling. My dad was irish and always used to sing it to me. Got big blue eyes. Makes me cry too sometimes xxxxxxxxxx

here is mine to start..

La bamba..being very drunk with my friend in Carlisle outside the nurses home, student nursing days. We were singing this song very loudly, probably waking anyone who was asleep.
