Well been to vets - he gave me the all clear lol but Tess does have kennel cough.

She is on two lots of meds one for infection and the other to bring her temperature down.

Cause she has been vaccinated he reckons she will improve quicker. She has to rest plenty - thats easy to do cause she loves her sleep lol.

Thanks for all the support it means a lot.

Kennel coughs no big deal - 8 months is as good a time as any to get it.

All my dogs have had it. Actually, a little dose of benylin now and then does no harm and seems to help - but most dogs dont like it!

It doesnt bother the dogs half as much as it bothers the owners, so don't fret and in a weeks time she will be right as rain!

Morning all.

Needing some hugs this morning, just called my vets practice cause my dog Tess has been coughing and they tell me there is kennel cough going round and they say she may have it... even though she has been vaccinated against it.

She is so precious to us, and the kids will be devistated that she is not well (they lost their nana in Jan and have thrown all their love into Tess) she is only 8 months old.

I just wish she could talk and tell me how she feels cause I feel helpless.

Have to call the vets when I get outside the practice cause she can't be allowed near other dogs.

Actually I am in bits about it.

Gotta go speak soon.
