With my moon rounded face I have stopped cutting my hair short as I too am always disappointed afterwards...layered around my face does make it less biscuit like...

Back in the sixties I must have been the first "punk" with pink hair, not out of choice but because I was in love in the "deep candle like wine colour"

Unfortunately, those years my hair was a blonder colour and it came out pink...Mum was so very annoyed with me and was more concerned about what the neighbours would say then my hair disaster.

Lol.. the good old days when our problems were so insignificant to what was really going on in the world..

I have fine hair too Lindy but lots of it. It's very stubborn and hard to style hence many many hair disasters in my time. Takes a VERY good hairdresser to sort my hair lol. Rarely do I end up feeling positive about a cut...my hair has been all colours of the rainbow toobut I felt the need to go back to *me* for a while and I'm so glad I did.

I like the idea of copper low lites though.......May have them next time lol xx

It is great to hear that you have had such a wonderful day. Isn't it good to feel so alive...

Every two months I go to my hairdresser and have two different colours streaks in my hair. Copper and a light brown, which along with the natural dirty blond and curly silver hair makes a statement of its own....lol...

My old man does not make any remarks anymore, he is just happy that I don't come home with a shaved head...

I am blessed in having my Mom's fine but lots of hair. Only one draw back is that if I don't pin it down after a wash I look afro...

I've had an absolutely brilliant day today.

FIrst my surrogate nieces arrival.......I'm still buzzing. Despite the 2 am call (and being too excited to go back to sleep after......couldn't settle til I spoke to new mummy and by then it was too late to go back to sleep).

Second I've just had my hair dyed back to my natural colour......covering up all that birthday pressie grey that keeps popping up AND covering up the horrid red bits. I also had a radical new short haircut which I am LOVING.

PLUS Alex is out of Big Brother lololol.
