For those with babies.

They say you have to offer a baby a food 16 times before you give up
Eventually they will take it or so they say.

Who are "they"is what I would like to know

Perhaps thats why some hate certain foods

Did anyone see the programme the other day about children that wouldn't eat? One little girl would only eat chocolate and wotsits. She was gradually pushing herself to eat toast but it was a struggle.

Couldn't believe the mother who was still giving her 4yr old up to 20 bottles of milk a day, and still in nappies and still demanding bottles twice during the night!!! Sorry, but its the parents. And as for the 2 trying to force feed the 2yr old, no wonder he wouldn't eat. Mine, if they didn't eat the food in front of them, it didn't get eaten. They soon learned, I don't run a restaurant, it's what's in front of you or nothing!!

I had a problem when I was a veggie as I did not like the taste of tofu and soya, have allergies to nuts and am not overkeen on pulses, oh and I am lactose intolerant.
But avocados are still my most hated food, I know they are supposed to be good for you but yuk.
I am with you on the marmite Maz.

Diddy & Devon, yes, particularly the little boy with the bottles, we all said it was the mum's problem from the outset. Did you see how he tucked into his food so easily - he hadn't got the problem at all.

I wondered about the girl that wouldn't eat anything but chocolate and wotsits how she got into that position in the first place. She obviously had a problem as she struggled eating that toast.

Red S, I think they said that girl was diagnosed with Autism at an early age, I care for twins who are autistic and their main diet is "Marmite on toast" and "Crisps", so I could see where she was coming from.

Diddy....yes you're right. They did say that. I couldn't remember. Her family seemed very well balanced and very supportive of her.

Thankfully all the children made some sort of progress throughout the programme.

Marmite? Not one of my favourites.....I must admit i was a fussy eater as a child. I didn't like drinking milk although I love it now.
