Hi all,
My back garden is now a mess with plant pots strewn all over the place & hanging baskets looking bedraggled after yesterdays gale force winds here in North Lincolnshire. Unfortunately I didn't see the weather forecast!
The front garden is strewn with leaves, branches & conkers from my neighbours trees. Between them they have 3 conker trees. You can't see the lawn, so I guess I will be spending the day out there clearing up. Can't believe we're having this weather in June.

wind has dropped today but the garden now needs sorting out. Hopefully i will stay dry as I have just put washing out. One bonus was the first load of holiday washing was dried, ironed and put away by 6 oclock yesterday and we only got home at 12.15.

I hope it stays fine here in Lancashire.
Youngest daughter has her prom night tonight and they are meeting at our house. Also husband is taking them in his beloved Capri............and it doesn't come out in the rain ! Fingers crossed x

Hi all it is now sunny in Glasgow was cloudy earlier and just a little wind. I think that been in a hollow where I live we missed the brunt of it.

Just been for an hour long walk around the village. One tree down from a hedge by a park and a large branch off a tree in the infant school playground (think they had better get the tree looked at!).

One thing I noticed, all the flowers in the hedgerows and gardens were smelling beautiful. the honeysuckle ascent was very strong. Not good for hay fever sufferers but it was lovely to walk by all these scents.
