No credit crunch for them then !!!

AND one of the slimey little s*ds had the cheek to tell people to *cheer up* the other day.!!!!

The sooner this lot go the better. They are a disgrace......if we are suffering because of their poor policies then they should be pulling in THEIR belts too. xx

We have the added burden of my husband being self-employed, so his operations this year have lost us 12 weeks wages.................not funny!!

The bank have been really good though as we have told them beforehand that he wouldn't be earning for those weeks.

He is better now and that's really all that matters, we'll just have to knuckle down and work all the extra time we can to play catch-up again.

Been there before and we survived:))

You have my every sympathy Brian and Kitty...We have just had to have a gas meter fitted because we simply couldnt afford the bill. I work, Graeme has 2 jobs and still there is no money left for holidays etc,We have a 14 year old car and things are pretty grim.

The price of running a home and family has become unsustainable,

It makes me sick McB, the rest of us are struggling to pay our bills and keep afloat and they ' award' themselves this amount.!!

One way or another they rip us off.

MPs could be in line for a pay rise of £40,000MPs could be in line for a pay rise of about £40,000 a year in return for scrapping their controversial second homes allowance, it has been claimed.
The top-up to MPs' current £61,820 salary would be worth about £24,000 after tax - approximately matching the maximum claim under the Additional Costs Allowance (ACA) this year.
The move, one of three options to be put before MPs by an internal review of parliamentary expenses headed by Commons Speaker Michael Martin, would effectively remove the onus on MPs' to justify their expenses claims and hand extra cash to those who do not currently claim the full amount.
The typical MP would be £4,500 a year better off as the average claim under ACA is £19,500.
