You know what? Nowhere in the first post, which I take to have been c&p from the source, does it mention that school RULES were violated...

I would suggest it is read again...or better still find the report itself and read that. THEN argue.

aye did yo see that word i used, furore

Kay????

Kay???? Report 30 Jun 2008 21:39

There is no mention that any school rules were broken so maybe a re-read of the first post is needed,!!

The complaint has come from the father of the party boy in that the teacher saw two children handnt been given a party invite,so steps in and conficates all the handout invites,,saying that they didnt want any child to feel discrimanated against by not getting an invite,,,these other two were not given an invite because the party boy had or got issues with them...

The party boys father has logged a complaint to the Swedish parliment in that he sees his sons invite being conficated by the teacher as wrong,

If these other children didnt get an invite then tough,!is as I see it,

But wether it consitutes a logged complaint the parliment seems extreme, and OTT and would never happen In Uk I dont belive,,,its an extreme case anyway,,,,,,,,,

Kathryn you stated:

"THE TEACHER observed that the child had broken the rule by handing out invitations to some students and not others."

Does that mean that if the child had given invitations to ALL the children the teacher would have turned a 'blind eye' to the misdemeanor of handing out invites during school time?

I'm sorry, just had a chuckle. here was me thinking the thread was going well and I had actually agreed with Kathryn, maybe I was wrong and she didn't really jump down people's throats. No, I was right.

Kathryn, what you have said did make a lot of sense but please make allowances for those of us who do not have a lawyers brain. We learn from you and that is good. But please don't be nasty to Julie who really has not got a nasty bone in her body. why can't you be pleasant? and not so aggressive?

No, don't bother to PM me this time, I wont reply.

Kathryn..................I have clashed with you before and it's really really boring, please let it drop now.

You read things one way, others read them another way.

We all have opinions, but as soon as someone disagrees with you, or makes a mistake, you leap into belittling mode.

To avoid further unpleasantness, I will not respond to your expected 200 word reply to this which will pull my post to pieces, go over every mistake Julie made and try to make me look a complete fool which you have previously done.

It isn't nice or clever, it's just plain offensive

JaneyCanuck Report 30 Jun 2008 21:08

You clearly need new glasses, Julie. Very badly.

NOBODY complained about the child handing out invitations.

THE TEACHER observed that the child had broken the rule by handing out invitations to some students and not others.

The parents OF THE CHILD WHO BROKE THE RULE are doing a lot of complaining.

If you come on here for humour and a chat, you might do well not to call childen you don't know brats because of something they haven't done.

"seem to be looking for arguement as every reply youve made has put down someones comments directly using their name"

Gee, Julie, I was taught it was polite to address people by name.

And to address what they said, not something I made up out of thin air and pretended they said.

"if you want to continue bullying go somewhere else and dont hide behind this board ,
and dont bully me please"

If you don't want to hear someone's about your opinion, my best advice is what it always is: keep it to yourself.

If you want to call someone pointing out that you have unfairly called a bunch of children you know nothing about "brats" in public "bullying", well hey, you feel perfectly free.

***Julie*Ann***.sprinkling fairydust*** Report 30 Jun 2008 20:50

oh yeh
silly me
thanks for pointing that out
i clearly read between the lines WRONGLY

i thought the kids were complaining,
but it was the parents,
thatll teach me to wear my glasses wont it, dear dear
youd think id have realised anyway knowing what happens in these cases usually, adults get upset
next thing kids are friends,

so there you are katheryn
you were right,
i was wrong sweety ok
do you feel better for that now can i ask

like i said
if you knew me youd know i never mean anything malicious to anyone if i can help um i will
i never jump in at people and slag um off , in the wya you did me, i made a comment of what i thought was happening to people i didnt know, im sure we are all guilty of that, however i did not go directly up to someone and call their kids brats, that i would never do
i mostly walk away when someone gets nasty
mainly cos i dont see point in it
i come on here and look for humour and chat,
as most of the time i suffer a lot of physical pain and lack of sleep there for look for cheering up,
you however
seem to be looking for arguement as every reply youve made has put down someones comments directly using their name

if you want to continue bullying go somewhere else and dont hide behind this board ,
and dont bully me please

Hey Julie. I'm not "new", although that has precisely nothing to do with anything. But hey, don't let that stop you using it as an insult and a way of saying that someone's words should be ignored.

You are the one who said:

"why did the kids complain if theyd fallen out"

The FACT is that no kids complained. This is what it says in the very first post in this thread:

"The boy handed out his birthday invitations during class-time and when the teacher spotted that two children had not received one the invitations were confiscated."

Where are you seeing kids complaining? Surely you should be able to tell us. It's a pretty simple question.

If you can't tell us where you see children complaining, you need to tell us why you have called the children in question "brats".

Dang, I can just imagine how people here would react if somebody read a newspaper article about something that had happened to their children through no fault of their own, and then called them brats.

The only one slagging anybody off here is you, Julie.

You're the one slagging off CHILDREN you know nothing about.

Pretty tacky and nasty, is my opinion.

Don't like my opinion?

Tough, ain't it?

So when it comes to practising what one preaches, allow me to quote your own excellent advice:

"unless you know someone have met them
dont slag um off"

Me, I'd say: particularly if they are children.

***Julie*Ann***.sprinkling fairydust*** Report 30 Jun 2008 20:14

thanks katheryn

clearly you are new
and have no idea about anybody your talking about
cos if you did youd know
i never say anything nasty about people ,however we are all entitled to an opinion

i havent slagged you off personally so dont slag me off please
do you know theese children, as you seem to know an awful lot about something youve only read the same as everyone else, and thats written by the press,

men and women have fought for this country for free speech, and to allow everyone to live a free life
and continue to fight to keep that,
so practice what you preech
unless you know someone have met them
dont slag um off

JaneyCanuck

JaneyCanuck Report 30 Jun 2008 19:56

***Julie*Ann***

What are you talking about?

"why did the kids complain if theyd fallen out"

Why do you ask a question about SOMETHING THAT NEVER HAPPENED?

"sounds like a load of brats to me"

Sounds to me like you're just itching to say something nasty about someone who never did what you're pretending they did, and now you've said it.

Feel better now?
