Well done, Kitty! Excellent.

So David Niven (the thespian) was a believer in the flat earth theory, eh!

Fascinating! Especially after his role in 'Round the World in 80 Days' - one would have thought he would have seen the curvature of the earth, what!

Is that the David Niven - the well known astrophysicist and adviser to NASA?

Or the one who played the loveable cad in many humorous films? Or was that Terry Thomas....?

So many questions, so few answers......

Even David Niven said

The Moon is a balloon

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 30 Jun 2008 15:10

OK, well, here is my theory, in the absence of any other.

I think the world is round - as in a globe shape.

Because when I go out of my body on one of my astral projection trips, I can see that it is round.

:-)

No?

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 30 Jun 2008 14:48

It would be really interesting to know what you base this assertion on?

Presumably, it is an assertion as you are stating it as a fact as opposed to a theory, so it will be interesting :-)

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 30 Jun 2008 14:45

But is it round or spherical?

A ball or a frisby?

If its a frisby, whats on the other side? Is that where the UFO's come from?

I can honestly say I have seen the curvature of the earth so it must be round :))

If you stand on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah (I have) you can see the curvature of the earth!

There are millions of suns.

Or do you mean how many are there in our solar system? The answer to that one is one.
