Why does the moon come out on a bright night? Better for us if it happened on a dark night, don't you think? Very odd!

Ok so if the world is round does it not follow that so is the universe?

If it is infinite ie. it has no end, then the universe should be round and eventually we could go all the way around and meet our galaxy on the way back???

Just something to think about on a Sunday!

Maybe it's chocolate that stops us falling off?
If the moon's made of cheese maybe earth has a chocolate core-like a reversed malteser?

....what a great idea cmd......did something like that with ours.....stuck labels on stuff.....on the television, table, chair, whatever saying what they were.......people thought I was mad, but our kids learned from it...... I like the map idea much better though, wish I had thought of that one....

Well cmd ..............we don't travel much, we live in Sussex and I have so far in my 54 years been to Surrey, Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset.............oh and the Isle of Wight:))

I know where all those counties are, maybe we need to buy a campeer van and explore the rest of the counties, then get passports and travel abroad.

*puts lottery ticket on list*

kitty,
I was a bit like that, and then when the kids were little I brought one of those light up atlas's it was best thing, we kept it by the telly, and looked up places when mentioned on news etc, the kids learned really well.....
and we had a world map on wall, and whenever we went places we stuck a pin in it....
