oops indeed Jill......have you ever tried to clean up a Sheltie, they have a lovely long coat...

...and to Kitty......I was pleased with myself for using up veg to make a veg soup which turned out smashing, trouble was it was mainly cabbage......I think I must have personally damaged the ozone layer after that....

if you worm your dog regularly

you can feed it what you want

or thats what they said in our vets

it was a old wives tale
dont feed dogs pork because
it taste like human meat and the dog might eat you pmsl

okay I´m going to make you feel real good now, you are all worrying about worms in fish and meat but I´ve got lots of pics of worms (some unbelievably huge) which have been passed after detoxing the colon. We deworm our pets but never bother with ourselves, I take the herb woodworm every day to prevent this happening. Have a look at some pics on line you´ll never believe some of them!

Joy - pork tastes like humans? I wonder who worked that one out - LOL. But that would fit in with the old wives' tale bit.

Chica - I'm not going down that road - yeuk.

Jill

I believe that the term, "Long Pig" refers to human flesh as eaten by cannibals.......

There WAS a program where two fellers took on tapeworm.......for an experiment. at the end they "Drank" loads of milk of magnesia? to eradicate the worm........about 16 feet of it.........

Bob - that is so revolting ...

I'm definitely not going to eat pork again - and if that pooch of mine snaffles anyone's bacon rind there'll be big trouble!

JILL DON´T read this! This is for Bob!.

My daughter was going on a gap year and we all had to go to the London School of Tropical Medicine for a lecture.

The doc was showing us slides of various conditions and the kids were getting bored, suddenly he showed a pic and said,

"now you boys don´t go messing around with the local girls!"

The pic showed a man with his enormous "balls" literally hanging below his knees (absolute silence in room).

Afterwards I asked him the case history, and he said that when they removed his testes they were FULL of worms. Evidently a worm had entered through the sole of his foot.

So the moral of this story is:

Don´t go around in your bare feet guys!

In Shetland (where's Eldrick when you need him) Cod is known as 'worm fish', Haven't eaten it since 1978!!
Pork liver can also contain a thing called a fluke, which is a worm of some kind.

wmsl we had pork yesterday as o.h. likes it.

I do recall a friend telling me not to use a certain chippy as she had bought fish and chips and found a worm in the fish, she got her money back but was told it wouldn't have been harmful. Put me off using that shop for a while but I do always look at my fish as I eat it, don't just stuff it in my mouth without careful inspection, heaven knows what I would do if I found a worm tho lol
Ugh the thought of worms inside the colon, ugh and double ugh!
If you have a coffee 'washout' (can't remember the correct terminology) do the worms come out high on caffeine lol?
