lol Easter Bunny, I am not like most others, like my Mum who needed muscles to carry her handbag around......my Dad used a Sainsburys carrier bag.......at the most I have a bum bag, if not I have a small purse in my pocket and my keys in the other....

Just had a peek in the bum bag and I have the lid off the box of nice'n easy hair dye light blonde 87 to remind me which colour to use......a kidney donor card, blood donor thing, old Nectar card, Bonne Marche points card......card to tell me calories/fat/salt/sugar recommended a day and a first class stamp.....

.....don't seem to need much of anything else....

Old see through make up bag,and in it - door keys, car keys ,credit cards, driving licence. bus pass, National Trust Card, NT Card for Southampton Section.

I always keep these items in this make up bag, so can switch from one bag to another without leaving items behind.
This was a lesson I learned from my late mil. Also when I switched bags one day, and was in Hypermarket with load of shopping, and had to leave it there to come back home for my credit cards.

I used to get handed o.h.'s specs, credit cards etc etc but he has to have two different pairs of specs now and likes to take his camera sometimes and other bits and bobs so when we abroad one time, I persuaded him to let me buy him a small bag with a long shoulder strap and he uses that, altho he has left it on a bench before now and we had to rush back for it and he does still put his specs down and can't find them, we have found them on the bonnet of the car once, in the car park!
This is all my stuff I carry now, I usually find that if I try to prune it down and carry less, the thing I leave out is the very thing I find I need when out lol

I carry my husbands stuff because I am stupid probably. I end up carrying the plastic bags (hate seeing men carrying their wives hand bags) and coats. WHY

Liz--lol know what you mean about so much stuff
up untill a couple of years ago ,I rarely ever carried a handbag, now I wonder how I did without one--always take things,"just in case" now but it's got beyond a joke because it takes so long to rummage through everything to find the item I want

You really don't want to know!!

O.h. always writes clues on the gift tags on presents he has bought me, and one year he got me a handbag, I had mentioned it as we passed a shop and he went back and got it as a surprise. The clue was: your new filing cabinet lol I carry so much stuff, always need a big bag, no wonder my shoulders are always aching!
