Spelling mistakes in advertisements in the papers. In a local paper for the farming community it is so obvious that the typist has no knowledge of the subject matter and can put mis-spelling which alters the whole sense of the advert. Of course, just now my mind is a blank and cannot think of an example! Jean |

Used to do a bit of a double take when I saw a lorry belonging to South Eastern Shopfitters because it always went into my brain as South Eastern Shoplifters and I thought they must be very good at it to need a lorry. |

One thing that is really grating on me at the moment is the aparrent change in the way the letter 'H' is said. It seems that if you are under the age of 30 it now has to be pronounced Haitch instead of Aitch. And no matter how many times I correct my children they still insist it's Haitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Sign in a cafe in Selsey used to ask ladies not to put sanitary ware down the toilets. I suppose that once you have smashed up the pan and poked it all down the drain the mess must be appalling,and think of the noise! |
