I would like to please, if it isn't too heavy to post, Ros. I read so many books and like autobiographies.
I just picked up the late Christopher Reeve's 'Still Me' today in our local supermarket, they have a bookshelf there where you can leave books and any you take, you pay 25p or more, if you like, into a box for charity. After the box was stolen twice, they have it chained to the shelf now. I get some great books there, this one is a hardback, copyright 1998, and originally cost £16.99. I do take most of my books back and put them on the shelf for others to buy, except for those I think I might want to read again. I am going to have to live to be a 100 or more and still have good eyes, to re read all of those I have enjoyed tho lol
Funnily enough I had said on Sunday that there was a freebie David Bowie cd in a Sunday paper but o.h. forgot to get it, he likes D.B. (so do I)
When I got home, I took the C. Reeve book out of the bag, and inside was the cd lol Someone must have put their copy on the shelf for sale, as there are sometimes cds, videos, etc as well as books, and it had got tucked inside the book. A wonder it didn't fall out when I picked it up but I was pleased.

Jon Gaunt has a phone-in programme on the Talk Sport radio network every morning from 10 am to 1pm....talking about everyday issues. I try to listen most days...can be a bit of a wind up merchant and doesn't hold back with his views lol.

He also appears on BBC2 Newsnight from time to time and writes a column in the Sun.

His 2nd book is out in the autumn.

Although I enjoy reading Ros, I've not read many autobiographies. Apart from one, I have enjoyed the ones I have read.
Funnily enough, I was in a charity shop today, and heard the workers in the shop discussing the price that had been put on four autobiographies which had been handed in, and how they thought they had been overpriced.
Surprisingly enough, they had all been sold.
