	Our grandaughter in law is expecting end August. we know its a girl from all the scans she has been having. Pregnancy has been fraught from the beginning cos she has been having bleeds. They have scheduled a C section for the 17th August because she has had two previous kiddies by C section by previous relationships(she has a 17yr old and a 6 year old) The baby is growing well but all along she has had placenta praevia so they want to do the C section at 38 weeks. ie mid Aug. She started to bleed again on Sunday and is now in hospital cos time could be short if it goes into placenta abruption.She has had steroid injections to mature the babies lungs just in case. This will be their only baby cos mum will have a hysterectomy at the time of C section cos she has had so many gynae problems.pre concepton. So please can you send positive thoughts .I do believe these do help. Thanks

	Shirley i had that with my youngest daughter.I was scheduled for a c section but went into labour before.Took me straight into the operating theatre and found the afterbirth had started to move away and so i had her naturally after i had had all the drips in me.My sons wife expects her third on 17th august and already been in hospital with contractions and a show.All has calmed down again now so hopefully will go full term. Annie

	Thank you all for your kind thoughts. the latest is she is still in hospital and wont be let home until she goes 24hrs without a bleed because if things go wrong its very time restricted .They would like her to get to the end July if possible. Shirley

	Thanks Penny thats very reassuring . They have said the baby is a good size for the weeks she is at and having given her the steroids just in case the baby seems to be OK for the mo.
