I think as you do,that getting a bench is a lasting and very practical memory.
Are you going to have her name inscribed on it as well?

We have some here in Wales near the beach in memory of people who have enjoyed sitting there.

hope you can get everyone to agree. but as EB says don't forget to ask permission to put the seat there. and make sure it is anchored in some way or it may well 'walk'.

THERES A SMALL PATCH OF OVERGROWN BUSHES..
WERE GOING TO CLEAR IT

WHAT WE WOULD OF SPENT ON FLOWERS FOR HER FUNERAL WE ARE GETTIING A BENCH.

AND WE ALWAYS SAT ON THE KERB CHATTIN,,,WE WILL NOW HAVE A SEAT
SO FAR 8 AGREE OUT OF 21
