You could try Free Reg they have some counties on it;s an ongoing project like Free Cen and Free BMD

I found the Roman Catholic ones for the places I was after at the county records office but that's only really any use if you're close enough to visit - fortunately my Catholics were from the county I live in, but obviously not everyone's would be.

When i needed to search RC records, i had to apply to the bishop of the diocease i was interested in. Not an easy task. They take forever and charged me. Good luck xxxx

At a library or archive local to the event.
Earlier registers will have been handed in for safe keeping.
Churches may still hold later ones.

Some areas have a few onine

If the Mormon church have filmed the registers, you can order and view them at your nearest Church of Latter Day Saints.
