I think it might be ants take-off day today . The ones out the front look very busy and the air has that heavy feel to it that "they" seem to like.
Have the ants taken off yet in your area ?

I don't like finding the fat ones when their wings have fallen off.........lol

Are they flying yet where you are LWH ?

I think they need sunshine before they turn into heathrow airport. We have a little bit of sunshine (not much) but no sign of the little blighters yet.

* shudders *

I absolutely LOATHE flying ants :-(( we had them indoors 2 years ago - crawling out from under the washing machine. the air was blue as you can imagine.

haven't seen any here today. I have a couple of nests on my allotment and I know they are gearing up but not quite ready yet - hopefully it will be a day when I'm not there!

I haven't seen a mass take-off , like the ones I used to see when I was young , in ages. I suspect a lot of people get them with the old kettle of water when they see them swarming..........lol
My old Nan hated ants with a vengence........I find them rather interesting to watch personally........lol
