	Can you give the name and area and I'll take a look. I would imagine the first part refers to the fact that although born overseas, the person was British as Jamaica was under British sovereign. Gwyn

	can anyone tell me on census form 1901 what exactly does - born in Jamaica British subect mean and West Indies b. Parliament. London St pancreas
