To Shugborough hall near Rugeley.
Its a fantastic day out. It starts out with a notice saying, everyone who works here thinks it is 1870, please do not assume they know anything about the 21st century.
You then get to see round the servants quarters, the house etc and everyone who works there is in costume.
Its also does some lovely homemade cakes (but thats another story!)

Barley Mow in Milford village for lunch after the hall then a drive up onto Cannock chase and the German War Cemetary - good day out
