found out today that while we were away and eldest was here alone her and boyfriend thought about getting a for sale sign and putting it up in garden to see how I would react when I got back. Only reason they didnt do it was they realised that they wouldnt be here when we got back.

Have you done or had done to you any silly things

When I was young I used to walk through a churchyard regularly... I began to feel very sorry for those people who never had flowers on their graves... so I started taking them from the ones who always had lots, and just putting them on the forlorn ones.

I never got caught, but looking back, I think some people might have been very very upset, even though I meant no harm.

Dawn, I'd have had a heart attack, I think!! lol

Love

Hubby asked him over tea where he would of got a board from and he knew where one was so it was a definite plan, Hubby sad there would of been a street party especially from our neighbours.

I used to pass a boat hire yard on the canal en route from the pub home when I was younger and often untied the boats complete with sleeeping occupants and pushed them gently into the middle of the canal

When our parents went on holiday ( many years ago)

my brother decided to get a puppy.Mum always said we couldn't have one as we had 8 cats and it would upset them.

His plan was that the Pup would have two weeks to settle down and Mum wouldn't have a leg to stand on in objection.

Duke settled in fine.........cats soon got used to him...........Mum and Dad came home.

Mum swooped the pup up " oh what a lovely pup...who does he belong to ? "....bro answers "us "......lol.......I still remember her face to this day............lol..........but we were right , she couldn't object and Duke was a faithful companion to the family ( and the cats ) for 15 years :)

My mum and her best friend who lived next door went away for a few days and left us looked after by her best friends husband along with his own 5 children us all of varying ages. On the day we they were due back he had us making sure the houses were clean for their return, wot he didnt know was when he fell asleep in between giving us kids orders we put make up on him. When we saw their car pull up we woke him for him to welcome them home to be greeted by him looking like he had just fallen out of a brothel lol

he made us cut the grass wiv nail scissors for that one haha

Hi Dawnie :):)

Many moons ago when I was a teenager, we had been away only for the day but me and my younger brother thought we would play a joke on our parents.

When I think back at how stupid I must have been then lol

Anyway, it was late evening and dark, we got back to the house ahead of them. We had a small beareux cupboard that always stood in the hall.

Opening it up we placed scattered a few bits and pieces on the floor etc as though a burglar had been in. We then hid behind the door ready to shout boo.

Well I can tell you now lol " When I came round " yep it all went black the minute I jumped out as my dad chopped me straight accross the throat lol

Oh dear never again lol
