Sorry Brummie Helen - I'm afraid so. Why they have done it I do not know - maybe something to do with scheduling other programmes? I have no idea. Sorry if that has spoilt it for you.

Last night, watching Tom and Camilla, I couldn't eat me tea. They were so mesmeric. I had tears in me eyes aswell as OH, and I think even the dog too. Well you know what I mean. Cooking tonight's dinner now to have it before the programme starts. What a sentimental old fool, for want of another word, I am
Happy Watching to all

Edit - silly me, in all the exitement, I forgot to sign me name

NO MARGARET NO. please don't tell me that's true. I'm out again next Saturday night.

..... if you believe all the papers say. I must be a cynic as I take everything they say with a pinch of salt until it is proved correct. Incidentally, you won't have to wait for the result next week as the results show reverts to being on the same night. I have been an impatient little madam and have known the result each week - last night's included but it will make a pleasant change having on the same night officially.

going off at a tangent a bit I see from today's papers that Vincent and Rachel are an item off screen!!!!

Well I've just watched the dances from last night, and here's my thoughts, Austin and Erin's American Smooth was a bit dissapointing I thought, they seemed not to gel together.
Very impressed by Lisa and Brendan's waltz, very smooth and together.
Loved Tom and Camilla's foxtrot, very well presented, loved the seperate dance towards the end.
Rachel and Vincent's tango was also very good, timing was excellant.
Austin and Erin's Salsa was good in parts, but I felt that Austin was too static in places.
Adored Lisa and Brendan's Jive, had everything going for it.
Tom and Camilla's Rumba was very polished.
Rachel and Vincent's Cha cha was ok, felt they could of used the dancefloor abit more.

I can't make my mind up as to who the public will vote for, but I do think the bottom 2 will be Austin and Erin and Lisa and Brendan.

Hi Tess - have also just watched the show and although it was childish I couldn't help but laugh at Brendan's mini-tantrum. I really thought he had it under control this year. Enjoyed the show and so obviously know how the leaderboard stands - but I don't think at this stage that means a thing - the voting public have a knack of completely turning it around and I can't even guess what they will do. I have done my voting - all 5 votes again - but reiterate my fears that Tom and Rachel could be in bother.

have just watched the show, and voted too!

Still anyones guess as to who will be in the bottom two.
They are all so good now and enjoyable to watch.

I wonder if Brendan has recovered from his fit of pique yet? And he had been doing so well this series, hardly showing his disagreeble side at all.

Hope you have a good party Helen, happy 21st to your daughter.

I have a feeling that Rachel will be in the dance off this week.

Jusy over half an hour before tonight's programme starts. Butterflies in the stomach already..... and I'm not dancing !!! Somehow have a feeling that it could possibly be Tom and Rachel in a bit of bother tonight. Don't know why I feel this, no logic at all just a feeling. Hope I'm wrong but once again.... we'll wait and see. Enjoy the show everyone.

Hi folks,
just nipped on to check my emails, before I put the polyfilla on and wrap myself lots of magic pants to make myself respectable for the party tonight. Have a good night and I'll catch you all tomorrow.

Who will go this evening do you think?

Pity that Strictly and X Factor clash this week, it was a good evenings viewing when one followed the other.

Have been reading this thread from the beginning with great interest. I know some of the dresses have been stunning but who on earth picked Lisa's dress for the cha cha? Also poor little Rachel was completely swamped by hers for the paso doble. Rachel is so petite that an overlong skirt does nothing for her. Quite apart it is difficult to see her footwork.

My personal opinion is that the judges want Lisa and Brendan to be in the final but I think she is too tall for Brendan. Also I think she wins phone votes because of the tears which come so often (maybe I'm being catty there!) Rachel seems so well contained that I think it loses her phone votes but that is just my opinion. How romantic was that waltz though? Took me back to the Plaza in Manchester too many years ago.

All as good as each other now,
I think Christine was a real trooper what she said, and took it all in great spirit.
I watch her on The One Show, have done so since Richard and Judy went to another channel I like her very much.
Wonder if there is any truth about her and Matthew, that they are enjoying each others company socially.

Hi all, regardless of the outcome of this competition I am thoroughly enjoying the show now and much as I enjoy my favourite and non-favourite, I must say all competitors are giving their all. All of them are now working so hard and achieving such a brilliant display, I feel sorry for whichever two miss out on the final. I feel for them all. Glad I'm not them, I'd be a bag of nerves, that's for sure. See you all next week.

The heat is definitely on now!!
I still want Rachel & Vincent in the final, they dance perfectly together.
Not sure who else as they're all good and I keep changing my mind........at the moment Tom as he is the most versatile, but I just love the show :O))

bludgeon you!!!! good heavens, never!!! nice to hear another point of view - the last thing we want is a falling out. My money was on Austin initially and I do think the men have a much harder job as they have to lead and the girls are really led around, but that said, they are fantastic in my opinion - I speak as someone who paid for ballroom dancing lessons back in the early fifties - my friend and I were so useless that the teacher gave us our money back - that made us feel worse!!! Fortunately Bill Haley arrived and saved us and ballroom dancing went out of the window!!!!

I'm looking forward to seeing Christine and Matthew on It Takes Two. A great weight must have been taken off their minds.
I shall watch The One Show at 7pm too. I want to see what Adrian says.

The right decision made by the judges, the only way Christine was going to stay in was if she wasn't in the bottom two.

Midlands Margaret, not sure that I agree with you about Rachel having the poorer fan base. I think that Lisa may have been in the dance off more often.
It does seem though that both girls may be in the bottom two. I might have to think about voting myself if I think that the dances on the night warrent it.
Who will the "Christine voters" vote for next week?
Or will they decide to save their money?

Its all so interesting, I'm looking forward to the dances and the dresses next week.

Actually Ann of Green Gables, I fear Rachel will go next week. In my own personal opinion - and mine only I - I have observed the judges in their response to the different dancers and the dances they do from week one and what has stood out firmly is that Lisa has been the 'apple of their eye' from the beginning. I genuinely think that the judges actually want a Lisa and Austen/Tom final. Not sure of the blokes, they fluctuate too much on their marking of them. Lisa danced beautifully in her ballroom this week but I thought her cha cha cha which the judges raved about was absolutely boring but knew instinctively she would get good marks - that way she stops at the top of the leaderboard and more or less out of danger. Of the three Rachel seems to have the least fan base so unless all those who profess to enjoy her dancing actually bother to pick up the phone and vote for her, then I think her days are numbered. I hope I'm proved wrong, but we will have to wait and see. I felt for Christine although I think it was the right decision for her to go, but give her her due, she worked like a trojan, took the criticism with good grace and was a really nice contestant. See you all next week........ and please don't bludgeon me for expressing the above opinion - it is only mine after all !!! See you all next week.
